Challenges/projects for the coming year

• Plant a lot more beans
• Plant more elderberries in the back yard
• convert one toilet to a low-flow toilet
• winterize the back storage room: new window, better insulation
• Set up a better "root cellar" type area in the house.
• Have a winter garden bed next winter (lettuce in December/January!)

Latest Small Victory

redoing the greenhouse foundation and reorganizing it closing off the spare room and covering its heat vent when not using it this winter
